Helena, MT Engagement Session: Kelsey + Ethan
This snowy Montana engagement session near the Sleeping Giant outside Helena, MT shows how amazing a couples session can look in the winter time. Add in an adventurous couple and local microbrew and you have the ingredients for the perfect photography experience.
Montana winter engagement sessions need to be constant thing. Our favorite is what the skiers call a “bluebird” spring day, sunny with enough fresh snow and light to give life to the dormant landscape.
It also takes the right couple. Willing for adventure, not afraid of chilly fingers or muddy roads, ok with parking on the side of a dirt road and trampling through knee deep powder for the perfect shot.
We hit the jackpot with both on this couples session near the Sleeping Giant in Central Montana.
From the start, Kelsey and Ethan were all in. To use their own words, even though they felt a little “nervous, maybe even a little embarrassed” to be “lovey dovey” in front of someone, that energy and power translated into some incredible images.
To quote her directly, “This session was by far the most fun we’ve had with a photographer, and these smiles and kisses will be ones that I will forever hold close to my heart.”
And when you end the session with a frosty local microbrew, there can’t be much better.
